This module introduces students to the important issues when creating, designing and publishing content on the World Wide Web. The students are provided with the opportunities to understand the Web development, and their judgment of different development techniques, both in theory and in practise. Important Web programming languages, techniques and issue in designing a Web system are covered, such as JavaScript, PHP, Web databases and PHP Framework. At the end of this course, students should be able to deliver their own website with multiple webpages which interacts with a database. Particular attention is given to Client-Server side applications, for example an e-commerce web application.
